One paid research assistant position available in Glacier National Park, Montana, studying American Pika distribution, behavior, habitat preference and physiology in light of global warming and recent extirpations in the Western US.
The position is available immediately.
Strong preference is given to applicants who can stay through September 30, 2008. Experience hiking and backpacking in alpine envirnoments and with ecology-related field work is a plus.
Housing, camping fees and a $110/week stipend will be covered by the project leader, Lucas Moyer-Horner.
We are staying in Babb, Montana.
