Black-backed woodpecker field technician

FIELD TECHNICIAN needed to assist with investigation of resource use, demography, and movement of black-backed woodpeckers in the Black Hills region of South Dakota. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist with a radio telemetry study starting in early May. Work includes radio tracking, nest monitoring, and re-sighting marked individuals. Proficiency working with birds, knowledge of radio-telemetry techniques, and a demonstrated ability to work alone and under difficult field conditions is essential. Work will be full-time.
