Research Assistant
Job Description
To support the department's internal and external research programme:
Run primary cell and tissue-based routine assays
Contribute experimentally to functional validation of targets
Design, perform, analyse, interpret and report experiments
We are looking for:
A BSc in Pharmacology or related discipline (HND/A levels and equivalent experience considered)
Good theoretical pharmacology understanding, especially of drug receptor interactions and characterisations
Minimum of 1 year's laboratory experience

Job Description
To produce tissue-based functional data and provide pharmacological expertise to internal and external research projects:
Design, perform, analyse, interpret and report experiments
Research and design protocols to produce proposals
Manage internal and external research projects
We are looking for:
A BSc in Pharmacology or related discipline
Minimum of 2 years' laboratory experience in tissue and/or cell-based assays
Minimum of 1 year's laboratory experience in tissue pharmacology
You will be required to participate in an on-call rota system and it is desirable that you are Hepatitis B immunised with a satisfactory titre.
