Bergen Community College, Paramus, N.J. is pleased to offer for the tenth year, Bio 119, Intensive Wolf Study taught at the International Wolf Center in Ely, MN.
This is a 3 credit (from BCC) one hundred level biology course, with no prerequisite, and taught from 2 Jan. 8 Jan. 2006.
Students will receive formal lecture during the morning sessions including basic wolf biology and ecology, reintroduction and management issues, etc.
Field work will conducted during the afternoon AND evening sessions. Scheduled are ground and aerial radio telemetry, hike/snowshoe to an abandon den and/or kill site, wolf communications, wolf parasites and observations of the captive pack at the International Wolf Center.
Cost: $900 for room, board (except one meal), and use of the IWC facilities and equipment.

Tuition (~$250.00 for Bergen County, NJ residents; ~ $750.00 for out-of-state residents).

Transportation costs to and from Ely, MN (airfare will vary to Duluth, MN; a IWC van will transport students to Ely).
