We’re looking for a talented writer/editor to help us tell the world about Aalto University’s scientific breakthroughs and impact!
This is a fantastic position for someone who loves developing fresh stories on science and research for international media, and enjoys working with leading researchers and experts across a wide range of fields and functions. From applied physics to sustainable fashion to bioproducts, we've got it.In this role, you will write and edit press releases, articles and social media content on Aalto’s science and research, as well as on the university's strategic and multidisciplinary themes. You will actively use and develop our international media relations and international distribution channels. You will also work closely with communications colleagues across the university to ensure top-notch English-language communications for international audiences and the Aalto community. This is a full-time, permanent contract with a salary range of approximately 3200-3800€ per month. Please note that the position is based at our dynamic campus in Espoo, Greater Helsinki, Finland, where we implement hybrid work arrangements, combining on-site and remote work. Remote work from abroad is, unfortunately, not possible.
