Main Description:
Fauna & Flora is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to co-design, develop and implement a pioneering REDD+ project in the Ziama Biosphere Reserve. The post-holder will work closely with the Landscape Manager and the local team to lead the strategic and technical execution of the project in partnership with the Government of Guinea. The role focuses on integrating REDD+ strategies to secure multi-decadal support for climate, nature and people across the landscape.
Requirements:
- Direct experience in developing and managing high-quality nature-based climate mitigation programmes/projects in the forest and land use sectors
- Experience in the development and implementation of REDD+-related work
- Strong and holistic technical skills relevant to REDD+
