Contract Type: Temporary position (2 months)

Main Description:
The School for Field Studies is seeking a Temporary Lecturer to teach an autumn field-based program in Tropical Marine Ecology in the Caribbean. Responsibilities include delivering lectures, supervising student research projects, and collaborating with faculty and staff at the Center for Marine Resource Studies in South Caicos.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or significant experience in Tropical Marine Ecology
• University-level teaching experience
• Field research experience, preferably in one or more of the following areas: Queen Conch, Spiny Lobster, Reef Fish Ecology, Tropical Coastal Zone Ecology, Marine Protected Areas, or Coral Reef Monitoring
• Certified SCUBA diver (Rescue or Divemaster certification preferred)
• Small boat handling experience (preferred)
• Demonstrated commitment to environmental issues
