Main Description:
The DeRaad Lab at the American Museum of Natural History is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to investigate the evolutionary genomics of birds. The successful candidate will work with the museum's exceptional ornithological collections, with research topics spanning population genetics, conservation genetics, and speciation.

Requirements:

• PhD in evolutionary biology, computational biology, or a related field
• Experience with genomic data (short-read and long-read sequencing)
• Programming skills in Python and/or R
• Familiarity with museum specimens and degraded DNA is desirable
