Main Description
Leadership role managing zoology teams, responsible for budget management, staff supervision, and animal welfare standards. Reports to the Director of Life Sciences and contributes to strategic initiatives in habitat design and visitor experiences.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in wildlife management in zoo or similar environment
• Demonstrated experience in people leadership and team building
• Experience in development and implementation of animal husbandry policies
• Knowledge of equal opportunity, occupational health and safety
• Experience in habitat design for species
• Desirable: Tertiary qualification in Zoology or equivalent experience
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or Australian permanent residency

• Salary: AUD $139,860 - $149,485 per annum plus 12% superannuation
