Main Description: Postdoctoral position within the KOOPERATIV project funded by the German federal government. The project investigates collaborative agri-environment measures across 31 rural landscapes in Central Germany over 6 years. The researcher will focus on statistical analysis of biodiversity data in agroecosystems.
Requirements:
- PhD completed or near completion in ecology, biology, agriculture or related disciplines
- Excellent knowledge of ecological statistics using R (network analysis, structural equation modeling, GLMM, meta-analysis, Bayesian statistics)
- Experience in agroecology, biodiversity research, community ecology, network analysis or landscape ecology
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Excellent publication record
- Valid driver's license (Class B)
- Interest in thesis supervision
- Excellent communication skills
Benefits/Conditions: Salary according to German public service pay scale (TV-L E13) at 100%, 39.8 working hours per week
