Main Description:
The Jiménez lab at UIC Barcelona is seeking a motivated candidate to apply for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship in the September 2026 call. The project focuses on the role of polyphosphate (polyP) in cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, using state-of-the-art facilities in Barcelona. The selected candidate will receive full institutional support to develop a competitive fellowship proposal and carry out cutting-edge research in a dynamic international environment.
Requirements:
- PhD in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, neuroscience, cancer biology, or molecular medicine
- Experience in cell culture, molecular biology, microscopy, protein analysis, or omics approaches
- Strong interest in fundamental disease mechanisms
- Good communication skills
- Competitive scientific track record suitable for MSCA applications
