Main Description:
The Ancient Forest Alliance is seeking a Forest Campaigner to develop campaign materials, coordinate advocacy and citizen mobilization activities, and work with stakeholders to protect old-growth forests across British Columbia. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of environmental campaigning, forest ecology, and public engagement.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in environmental campaigns
- Background in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology, or Forest Sciences
- Excellent writing skills
- Knowledge of BC ecosystems and forest policy
- Strong verbal and social communication skills
- Experience with GIS/LiDAR is an asset
- $70,000–$74,800 CAD per year, depending on experience
