Main Description:
The Goyes Lab at the University of Missouri invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join a dynamic research program focused on the reproductive behavior and ecology of Belostomatidae (giant water bugs). Research will address the evolution of mating systems, sexual selection, parental care, and intersexual communication.

Requirements:
  • PhD in biology, organismal biology, ecology, evolution, animal behavior, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in behavioral ecology
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and writing skills
  • Solid publication record in animal behavior or entomology
  • Quantitative/data analysis skills (e.g., R)
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to work with live animals
