Contract Type: Fixed-term (18 months), full-time
Main Description: Scientific leadership position at the Arthur Rylah Institute, the Victorian Government's biodiversity research institute. Responsible for leading and supporting applied ecological research to inform evidence-based policy and natural resource management, as well as mentoring scientific staff.
Requirements:
- Degree in science (PhD preferred) with specialisation in ecology or equivalent (mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience managing, facilitating and coordinating large-scale, multidisciplinary ecological research teams
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Working rights in Australia for the duration of the appointment
