Full-time ERC funded post as Research Technician, available from 1 December 2022 to 31 December. 2023

The post
The College wishes to recruit a Research Technician to support the work of Bonnie Fraser. The successful applicant will be integral to a quantitative genetics experiment using guppies (Poecilia reticulata); organising and monitoring fish breeding crosses, phenotyping fish, molecular laboratory techniques (e.g. DNA extraction), and day-to-day management of the lab.
The post will include:
  • organising and monitoring fish breeding crosses
  • phenotyping fish morphology
  • routine molecular laboratory techniques

The starting salary will be from £28,762 up to £32,348 on Grade E, depending on qualifications and experience.
