Main Description:
JAMSTEC seeks 2 researchers to lead oceanographic observations focused on global ocean circulation and Arctic environmental changes. Candidates will conduct integrated research on physical and chemical oceanographic processes using observational data and numerical models.

Requirements:
  • Completed PhD in field related to physical oceanography, chemical oceanography, or climate dynamics
  • Desirable: experience in ship-based oceanographic observations
  • Participation in Japanese/international research projects
  • Research publications from collaborative work with foreign researchers
