Main Description:
BioSS is recruiting a Senior Ecological Statistician (Grade 6) to join its Offshore Renewables Group. The post focuses on animal movement modelling of seabirds and marine mammals in the context of offshore wind energy development. The position is fully funded for 12 months.

Requirements:

• Experience in ecological statistics
• Knowledge of animal movement modelling
• Experience working with marine mammals and seabirds

• Part-time schedule: 4 days per week
• Contract period: 1 September 2026 – 31 August 2027
