Contract Type: Research Scholarship (Graduate) - 12 months, renewable - 40 hours/week
Main Description:
S2AQUAcoLAB is offering two research scholarships for graduates to participate in the AlgFlavor Project. Activities include macroalgae collection along the Portuguese coast, planning and implementation of macroalgae cultivation under controlled conditions, data analysis, and reporting. There is the possibility of completing a master's thesis or internship as part of the project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology, Biology, Aquaculture, or equivalent
- Experience with marine organism cultivation systems
- Ability to work independently in laboratory and field settings
- Currently enrolled in an integrated master's, master's, or PhD programme
- Advanced English proficiency
- Autonomy and proactivity
- 1,090.98€/month
- Personal accident insurance
- Reimbursement of voluntary social insurance (level 1), if applicable
- Duration: 12 months, renewable
- Work at S2AQUAcoLAB facilities in Olhão
