The class is intended for scientists that are new to outreach and to video creation, but would like to get started with it. The class is open to scientists at any level, in any discipline. Tras terminar la carrera en 2004, lo primero que hice con mi flamante título de biólogo fue pasar tres años trabajando en conservación , para organismos públicos y privados. Después, sentí la llamada de la Ciencia, hice el doctorado, y pasé la siguiente década investigando sobre comportamiento animal, evolución y cambio global. Fue fantástico. Sin embargo, una mañana especialmente calurosa de Septiembre de 2016, en mi casa de Austin (Texas), mi carrera profesional volvió a tomar un desvío. Estaba escribiendo en el portátil el proyecto para mi siguiente postdoc, describiendo cómo planeaba usar cierta técnica molecular en el laboratorio, y me detuve a media frase.
