Doctoral assistanships in Environmental and Evoluntionary Biology

Very recently, the Department of Biology has been awarded several
additional doctoral assistantships. These teaching assistantships are for
students that can join the department's doctoral program in Environmental
and Evolutionary Biology in the fall semester of 2007. These
assistantships carry a stipend of $14,000 for the 9 month academic year and
a waiver of all tuition and most fees. Because of the short time before the
start of the semester, interested applicants are asked to contact the
graduate program coordinator (Leberg@Louisiana.edu) immediately for
additional information. More information on the program can be found at
http://www.ucs.louisiana.edu/~pll6743/biogradstudies.htm.
