Field Assistants - South Florida Turkey Project

Two field assistants are needed to work as part of a turkey research team
in cooperation with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
in south Florida. One assistant is needed from January-June, 2008
($10/hr, 40 hrs/wk). The second assistant is needed for ~10 weeks from
April-June, 2008 ($9/hr, 40 hrs/wk). Free, on-site housing is provided
for both positions. Assistants will be involved in trapping, marking,
radio-tracking, nest monitoring, and habitat assessment activities. The
likelihood that these positions will be extended past June and that one
will become a MS level graduate position is good.
