Temporary Field Assistants

We are looking for two field assistants to radio-track hedgehogs in Bristol between April-August 2004. This is part of a project looking at the ethics of wildlife rehabilitation, and we aim to monitor the survival of rehabilitated hedgehogs after release. You will be responsible for monitoring the survival of a group of hedgehogs over an eleven week period. Work will involve locating daytime nest sites and following individuals for six hour periods at night. Full training in wildlife telemetry will be provided. Own transport is essential, petrol costs will be reimbursed.

Timescale of appointment :
