The School of Civil Engineering and the Environment at the University of Southampton is a world class centre of research excellence, awarded the highest grade (5*) in UK's last Research Assessment Exercise.

We are internationally recognised for focusing on and carrying out challenging, innovative, industry-relevant cutting-edge research.
