Applications are invited for 3 Research Technician positions in the Department of Oncology at Queen's University Belfast. The positions, which are for 3 years, are available immediately.

The successful candidates will perform a variety of molecular biology and biological assays to support a range of current and future projects within the department. They will provide technical assistance in defined project areas in addition to routine duties necessary for the efficient day to day running of the laboratory. The successful applicants will be self-motivated and organised individuals with good communication skills and must possess either: a relevant scientific degree and have completed a relevant laboratory-based project or have some relevant post-graduate laboratory experience or a HND or HNC in Biology or Medical Laboratory Science or related subject. Salary scale: Grade C £13,548 - £15,132 per annum
Grade D £15,603 - £18,495 per annum
