Investigating the role of ion channels in human endometrial epithelial function
School of Human Development
Applications are invited for a three-year studentship to investigate the role of ion channels in human endometrial epithelial function. The project will utilise electrophysiology, cell culture and immunochemical methods to identify potentially novel signalling pathways that may be important in preparing the endometrium for implantation.
The successful student will be based at the University of Nottingham's new Medical School in Derby.
Students will be expected to have a first or upper second class honours degree in a relevant biological science.
This studentship will commence in October 2004 and the successful student will be expected to register for a PhD. A stipend at the current University rate will be provided.
