We are looking for three volunteer wardens to work at Minsmere reserve on long term placements. These opportunities will offer practical experience and training and are ideal for someone planning a career in conservation either during or following an academic qualification. Applicants should be willing to commit themselves for a minimum of 6 months. Minimum age is 18. Full driving licence essential. All previous successful applicants have moved on to paid employment.
This is an opportunity to work on one of the RSPB’s most well known reserves. Training will be provided as appropriate and may include Chainsaws, ATV, Tractors, Brushcutter. Practical experience would be gained in a variety of aspects of reserve management. Start date September 1st 2004 to March 31st 2005. Accommodation is provided.
