Postdoctoral position on an NSF-funded project documenting the biodiversity of marine flatworms

Post-Doc Position Available Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position on an NSF-funded project documenting the biodiversity of marine flatworms. We are looking for an applicant with a strong academic record in invertebrate zoology, who is accustomed to working independently and in remote locations. Expertise in field collecting, taxonomy, morphological and histological techniques, and phylogenetic analyses is required.
Knowledge of molecular techniques is helpful but not necessary. SCUBA certification is preferred. The project involves specimen collection, in situ photography, sample processing for histology and DNA sequencing, development of on-line databases and identification keys, and the description of new species.
