The goal of the project is to identify mediators of chromosomal instability in tumor cells using a combination of cell culture based experiments and animal models. State-of-the-art technologies including Chromatin-immunoprecipitations (ChIP), RNA interference, and cre-lox based mouse models will be used.
The candidate is expected to have considerable expertise in molecular biology and/or biochemistry. Previous experience in molecular tumor biology and mouse genetics is highly desired. Active participation in teaching biochemistry to medical students is expected.
