A PhD position is available in the Molecular Ecology Laboratory of Dr
Claudio Ciofi in the new Department of Biology at the University of
Florence, Italy.
We are looking for a motivated graduate student with strong interest

undergraduate degree) in a relevant field is required.
The student will be mainly working on development, characterization
and analysis of SNP markers in Komodo dragons using sample collected
from wild island populations. The project is part of a long-term
collaborative agreement with the Indonesian Institute of Science aimed
