The Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) seeks a:

Postdoctoral researcher (m/f)

3 years contract
Start date: June 2018 (or later)

Area: Human brain-on-a-Chip model for in vitro disease modeling

The Developmental and Cellular Biology Group at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine is looking for a postdoctoral researcher who is interested in further developing human patient specific brain organoids for in vitro disease modeling. This project is part of an international consortium with the aim to integrate brain organoids in multifunctional microfluidics devices (chips) with the ability to monitor disease processes and with applications in drug development.

Successful applicants should have a strong interest in Cell Biology and Neurobiology, especially experience in stem cell biology would be a plus. We are looking for highly motivated people who share our passion for research, are interested in acquiring new skills and wish to be part of an international team.
