Job title: Science Communicators
Pay description: £9 per hour
Work location: Festival Venues around Edinburgh
About the role:
Are you energetic, good with children and naturally outgoing? As a Science Communicator with Edinburgh Science Festival, you will form part of the team delivering entertaining, hands-on workshops and events to children and young people in our fun-filled festival venues, primarily in our flagship venue - City Art Centre in central Edinburgh. We are also looking for communicators to be based in the National Museum of Scotland. You will need to successfully engage your audience and assist in set-up and delivery to ensure your event runs smoothly.

Job title: Floor Supervisors
Pay description: £10 per hour
Work location: Festival Venues around Edinburgh
About the role:
As a Floor Supervisor with Edinburgh Science Festival, you will form part of the team ensuring the high-quality delivery of workshops and activities that make up the Festival's family programme at our flagship venue - City Art Centre. We also have opportunities for this role in our other venues - National Museum of Scotland and Summerhall.
This supervisory position will be responsible for a group of workshops taking place within one of our family venues. You will lead a team of 7 - 15 Science Communicators working on their events throughout the festival run as well as 1-2 Front of House members working on these events.
