Main Description:
PhD position to investigate the epigenetic mechanisms regulating gene expression of olfactory receptors in Hymenoptera. The project combines a multi-omics approach with comparative genomic analysis to understand the evolution of complex chemical communication systems.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Biology, Evolutionary Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics or related field
- Strong interest in behaviour, evolution and genomics
- Experience with NGS data, R or other programming language (desirable)
- Excellent English communication skills
- Experience in tissue dissection, molecular laboratory procedures and bioinformatic analysis of transcriptome/methylation (desirable)
