Main Description: Permanent research position as Principal Investigator of the MarineBasis Zackenberg monitoring program. Responsibilities include planning annual field campaigns in the Zackenberg area, management of long-term monitoring data, development of interdisciplinary research projects, and analysis of marine and climate processes in Arctic ecosystems.
Requirements:
- PhD in physical oceanography or related marine discipline
- Solid scientific track record in physical oceanography or Arctic marine monitoring
- Strong publication record in international peer-reviewed journals
- Proven ability to attract external funding
- Experience in marine or environmental monitoring programs
- Experience in interdisciplinary and international collaboration
- Experience with large long-term datasets
- Strong organizational skills
