Main Description:
A postdoctoral position is available in the newly established Plant-Nematode-Microbe Interactions Laboratory. The successful candidate will analyze multi-omics datasets to uncover molecular mechanisms underlying plant-nematode-microbe interactions and develop hypotheses for experimental validation.

Requirements:

• Recent PhD (within 3 years) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, Molecular Biology, Plant Sciences, Microbiology, or a related field
• Experience in nematology not required but preferred
• Strong publication record as first author in computational omics data analyses
• Programming experience in Python and R
• Experience with NGS workflows, Bash/shell scripting, and statistical analysis of omics data
• Familiarity with tools such as Bowtie2, GATK, FastQC, edgeR, DESeq2, HISAT2, Scanpy, MaxQuant, or equivalent bioinformatics software
• Experience with high-performance computing environments, workflow management systems, or reproducible research practices (desirable)
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
