Main Description
DNV is seeking a Marine Field Scientist to support the delivery of marine environmental surveys in the UK and internationally. Responsibilities include survey preparation, operation of subsea equipment, analysis of seabed imagery, and collection of high-quality environmental data for offshore renewable energy, infrastructure, and marine research projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Marine Biology, Marine Sciences, Oceanography, or a related discipline
- Valid offshore certification (STCW, BOSIET or GWO)
- Valid offshore medical certificate
- Competence in Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and in offshore environments
- Willingness to travel and work away from home for extended periods
