Main Description:
The ACUABIOTEC Lab at IIM-CSIC invites applications for a one-year postdoctoral position as part of the ATRAE-funded OLDSALMO project. The successful candidate will investigate temporal genomic shifts in Atlantic salmon populations using ancient and environmental DNA. Key responsibilities include analysing ancient genomic datasets, generating historical genomic and phenotypic data, and relating findings to environmental change.

Requirements:

• PhD in molecular ecology, population genomics, or a related discipline
• Experience with degraded DNA (ancient or environmental) and/or aquatic systems is desirable but not essential
