Main Description:
Project Coordinator for the LaTaBioCoN consortium, responsible for aligning implementation of the Lake Tanganyika biodiversity conservation project with strategy, budgets, timelines, and monitoring processes. Coordinates multi-country teams, partners, and conservation, finance, operations, and monitoring functions.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in project management, biodiversity conservation, natural resource management, international development, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project coordination or program implementation
- Experience managing complex freshwater or terrestrial projects with cross-departmental coordination
- Experience coordinating multi-functional teams and partners without direct authority
- Experience developing partnerships with NGOs, community groups, and government agencies
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Strong skills in project administration, planning, budget tracking, procurement coordination, and implementation documentation
