Post-doctoral Research Fellow in Atmospheric Chemistry

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in experimental field studies of carbon balance in forested ecosystems. Research aims to determine sources or sinks of carbon dioxide from North and South America, using a combination of long-term eddy-covariance measurements and land- based biometric measurements.

Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in environmental science, chemistry, biology, ecology, atmospheric chemistry, geology or a related field. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative skills, including experience with all or some of the following: numerical analysis, modeling, spatial statistics, and programming. Experience with instrumentation and field measurements are also desirable.
