Department of Animal & Plant Sciences
Salary: £13,500 pa
The post holder will work on a project investigating the evolution and breakdown of C4 photosynthesis, undertaking a variety of tasks including general laboratory upkeep, the maintenance and running of experiments, morphological, physiological and biochemical measurements of plants, and the preparation of data for analysis. Applicants must have a minimum qualification ONC/BTEC or equivalent in a relevant discipline. 3 years experience in general laboratory work is essential, and experience in plant ecology, physiology or biochemistry, and the maintenance of plants in a controlled environment, would be advantageous. This post is available for 12 months from September 2004.
