Ecosystem Modeling/Ecology: A Post-doctoral position, jointly with the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources
(http://www-rci.rutgers.edu/~deenr/) and the Center for Remote Sensing and Spatial Analysis (http://crssa.rutgers.edu), Rutgers University, is immediately available. One year appointment with potential for renewal, depending on funding availability. Research will focus on the integration of process-based ecosystem and landscape fire succession modeling. The project is a collaboration with the Northern Global Change Research Program, USDA Forest Service. Experience on ecosystem/biogeochemical modeling and basic computer programming skills are necessary. Background in remote sensing/GIS and ecosystem ecology are preferred.
