Programme Manager, Raspberry Pi Foundation (Cambridge/London, UK)

The Raspberry Pi Foundation is hiring - I'm looking for someone to join my team to work on our Astro Pi programme. The Astro Pi Challenge offers young people the amazing opportunity to conduct scientific investigations in space by writing computer programs that run on Raspberry Pi computers on board the International Space Station.

We are looking for an Astro Pi Programme Manager, who will be responsible for leading on the administrative and technical aspects of the European Astro Pi Challenge, as well as for supporting the operation of the Astro Pi computers aboard the ISS. The ideal candidate will have experience of managing large-scale educational programmes and relationships with partner organisations. You need to have the skills to lead on communications and outreach related to the Astro Pi programme. In addition, you need to be comfortable collaborating with colleagues with strong technical skills on programme-related hardware and software maintenance and improvements. You won't need coding or technical skills yourself

The full job listing, and how to apply is on our workable page The salary is in the range £35k-40k. The role is listed as being based in Cambridge, but we're a flexible organisation and if the right person applies who isn't based in Cambridge we'll make it work.
