Main Description:
Postdoctoral position to study population genomics and conservation genetics of Caribbean reef-building corals. The work includes genomic analyses, quantitative genetics, epigenetics, gene expression, and modeling of conservation strategies. Laboratory and field activities will be conducted.
Requirements:
- PhD in marine biology, bioinformatics, genetics, molecular ecology, or related field
- Strong foundation in population genetic theory
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python) and R
- Willingness to work in laboratory and field settings
- Very good English (CEFR level C1)
- Preferred experience in system administration and repositories/databases (GitHub, NCBI)
