Main Description:
The Institute for Environmental Genomics (IEG) at the University of Oklahoma is seeking 2-3 highly motivated postdoctoral research associates with expertise in microbiome, microbial ecology, microbial evolution, soil science, or computational biology. The positions involve research on microbiome responses to climate change, microbiome dynamics, plant-microbe interactions, advanced molecular technologies, and AI-enhanced tools.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in microbiome, microbial ecology and evolution, soil science, or computational biology
- Knowledge in microbiome responses to climate change
- Understanding of microbiome dynamics and functioning
- Experience with plant-microbe interactions
- Familiarity with advanced molecular technologies (long-read sequencing, CRISPR-CAS, etc.)
