Main Description:
We are looking for a predoctoral candidate to join our research group focused on reproductive biology and genomics. The project investigates how sperm genome integrity influences fertility and early embryonic development. The successful candidate will receive interdisciplinary training in reproductive biology and advanced molecular/genomic techniques, within a collaborative and international research environment. There will be opportunities to participate in scientific conferences and to contribute to high-impact publications.
Requirements:
- Degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Genetics, Biology, Veterinary Medicine or a related discipline
- English level B2 or higher (written and spoken)
- Eligibility to enrol in a PhD programme at UAB
- Excellent academic record (≥8.5/10)
- Previous experience in molecular biology, genomics, reproductive biology, embryo manipulation, bioinformatics or animal research (desirable but not essential)
- Strong motivation for scientific research, critical thinking and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
