Main Description:
Volunteer position within a cetacean research programme focused on sperm whale photo-identification. Involves participation in boat-based surveys, behavioural data collection, and database management. Minimum commitment of three consecutive months, approximately 30 hours per week.
Requirements:
- Background in marine biology, ecology, zoology, or related disciplines
- Availability for three consecutive months without interruption
- ~30 hours/week commitment
- Fluent in English
- Field research or photo-identification experience preferred
- Basic computer skills (MS Office)
