This position is located in the department of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation at University of Florida and serves as a Research Programs Services, Coordinator 2. This position will coordinate and supervise 2 – 6 persons performing regular aerial and ground surveys for wading bird nesting colonies and studies of nesting success in Florida south of Lake Okeechobee, coordinate similar surveys by other institutions in the area, and assist with other field and lab research as time permits. Requires field work in south Florida approximately six months of the year followed by six months in Gainesville Fl. report writing, data management and other research duties. Expected starting salary range is $26,786.00 to $30,000.00, with benefits, and free/subsidized housing in south Florida.
