Environmental Educators and Medical Staff 12 sites in New England

Are you looking for an experience that is more than just a job?
Nature’s Classroom could be the life-changing opportunity you’re
searching for.

All academic disciplines are welcome. No formal teaching experience or
certification is required.

Nature's Classroom operates out of 12 facilities:

• Massachusetts: Charlton, Becket, Groton

• Connecticut: Ivoryton, Andover, Colebrook, Lakeside

• New Hampshire: Hancock

• Maine: Ocean Park

• Rhode Island: Wakefield

• New York: Silver Bay

Food and lodging are provided seven days a week for the length of
contract (cats and dogs are not allowed).

Fall semester runs from September to early December. Spring semester
from Late February to early June (exact dates vary by facility).

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Group leader and teacher in the 5-day seasonal residential program

- Develop and present classes in a variety of academic areas of your
choosing

- Supervise middle school aged students in field experiences

- Facilitate students in team building initiatives and low ropes
courses

- Facilitate High ropes courses at our Hancock, New Hampshire location

- Evening activities and mealtime duties

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree (Paid internships are available for people who do
not yet hold a bachelor's degree)

- Strong commitment to educate children

- Energetic, dedicated & able to become involved in all aspects of the
program

- Special skills (music, singing, storytelling) helpful

- Experience working with children desired

Benefits:

- Weekly salaries range between $320 and $400 per week based on
education and related experience

- Food and lodging 7 days a week for the length of contract
