Palau International Coral Reef Center is seeking applicants for the position of Researcher.

Position: Researcher
Salary: $20,050 – $33,690 per annum depending on experience and qualifications plus generous fringe benefits
Closing Date: January 7, 2024

The researcher will perform basic and applied marine related research by conducting field work, compiling and analyzing data and writing technical reports and peer-reviewed publications or scientific papers related to assigned research being conducted.

This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology, Ecology, Oceanography, Coastal and Pelagic Fisheries, Fisheries Management or other related field from an accredited college or university. Knowledge of marine research and/or related field and some experience in resource management and conservation is preferred. Field work is an essential part of a researcher’s duties so applicants must be able to conduct field work on a regular basis.
